With over 55 interactive trips, live programs, constructing workshops, driving attractions and schools, all set in 150 acres of gorgeous parkland, the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is a special theme park for the whole household to enjoy.
We got the supreme reserve & trip. It’s makes the trip very costly but it guaranteed the kids actually got to go on a good quantity of trips.
When it was understood as qbot & you had the pager type thing to carry around, we had actually utilized it before.
The website/app is alot easier to utilize. Nevertheless now legoland isn’t limited to the variety of pagers available it suggested alot more people had the r & r which led to waiting in queues anyhow.
You also can’t use it on the newer attractions. Its a terrific park for kids under 13. After that, the older ones might discover it uninteresting.
We chose our sons 9th birthday, and he had a good time. Gotten to 09.30, having spent for basic parking in advance (not exactly sure what the point of priority parking is unless you have major movement problems, as we were just a few mins walk from the entryway?). The park itself was great to begin with, but started to get insane hectic from mid morning onwards. Our kid is very little of an excitement hunter, so in that sense we were fortunate he wasn’t keen to go on every trip, which is just as well as the queues for almost whatever were at least 45 minutes just for the smaller sized rides. Handled to get on a couple of (Ninjago, Deep Sea Adventure, Destiny’s Bounty) with not too bad queuing times. Mythica took forever (it broke down periodically whilst queuing!), but was excellent, albeit short for the quantity of time queuing! Our kid enjoyed Miniland which was good as was the only location that was quieter. We paid for lunch in advance at Pirates Hamburger Kitchen area (arrived just after 12 and got in after a short wait, long queues after that!). It was fine and saved carrying a picnic around (although take lots of treats with you for queues !!). We didn’t spend much there as had spent for lunch in advance and took drinks/snacks with us. Overall a good day but less individuals would make it a better and more enjoyable experience!

Entry and exit
Parking was weird, as they ask you to leave a space of one cars and truck between cars due to social distancing. We arrived late morning, so after a while of driving about trying to find a complimentary and not a really faraway spot, we just parked in among those empty areas … I suspect leaving an area in between automobiles is anticipated in the morning, so people keep their range. By the time we were parking there was barely anyone there..
On entry our temperature level was taken, and bags cursorily examined. Tickets were scanned off our phones. As we arrived around 11.30 AM there were no lines and we got straight in, very quick process. I have seen some reviews stating that early morning queues can get long due to these checks..
As we showed up late, we were extremely late leaving, and once again walked out and drove out with no lingering..
Coronavirus determines inside the park.
You have to wear a mask on some of the trips if you are over 11 years old. Anything that is inside, and some of the bigger flights are ones where mask is mandatory. Do bring a recyclable one, or purchase one from the shops, but the trip attendants likewise provide non reusable ones for people that have actually forgotten theirs.. Holidays Legoland Windsor
On the flights, there will be empty rows or seats in between different household groups. The rides are likewise routinely cleaned – some seem sprayed after each run like Mia’s Riding Adventure, and some occasionally cleaned up with wipes, like Fairy tale Brook. On the Beast House Party there were also additional air filterers inside, and family groups were asked to sit and stand spaced apart – I think comparable procedures remain in location in other inside rides/attractions too..
Couple of rides were closed due to social distancing measures or scheduled upkeep, but overall I felt there was a lot of rides and attractions left..
A lot of hand sanitisers are dotted around the park, and on entry and exit for all the rides. Individuals did appear to use them rather frequently..
There was a one method system for all the shops, and masks had to be used. We didn’t go to any of the inside Lego exhibits, and really do not even understand if they are open. If they are open, a one method system and a mask would definitely remain in location in those too..
There are markers on the ground with arrows pointing that individuals must stroll on the left hand side – the majority of people overlooked this to be honest, and the signs were quite easy to miss out on anyway..
Sorry to state this, however if you are concerned with social distancing, an amusement park is not for you and Legoland will not be an excellent experience for you. People are strolling all over the place, not paying a blind bit of attention to social distancing, practically bumping into each other..
It does appear that the consumption of individuals is lower, but due to the coronavirus determines the trips take less people in and extra cleansing produces stops briefly in the service. This means that the queues are as long as ever. While there are social distancing reminders on the ground individuals just don’t focus on them. And even if people did, the method the lines snake around you would be standing very near to individuals on your left and best anyhow..
Can you stay overnight at Legoland?
I personally was not too happy with this element of the go to, however at the same time, it being outdoors and us being healthy and fairly young (and we have most likely had it currently anyway!) I was not extremely concerned. I would have preferred excellent social distancing, but I did not let it ruin my day. Individuals are out there having a good time, they forget, and it simply unfortunately occurs..
We brought our own picnic, however if you wish to purchase food at Legoland, be mindful that there may be long queues for food and just restricted food locations are open..
Additionally for drinks there are a couple of (not numerous) beverage dispensers around the park – I saw one at Heartlake City and around the driving rides. The all you can consume soft drinks will not work without the unique cup. Holidays Legoland Windsor
