We got the ultimate reserve & ride. It’s makes the trip very expensive however it made sure the kids really got to go on a decent amount of trips.
We had actually used it prior to when it was known as qbot & you had the pager type thing to carry around.
The website/app is alot easier to utilize. Now legoland isn’t limited to the number of pagers available it indicated alot more people had the r & r which resulted in waiting in lines anyhow.
You also can’t use it on the more recent attractions. Its a great park for kids under 13. After that, the older ones may discover it boring.
We opted for our sons 9th birthday, and he had a great time. Reached 09.30, having spent for basic parking ahead of time (not sure what the point of top priority parking is unless you have major movement issues, as we were only a few minutes walk from the entrance?). The park itself was great to begin with, but started to get crazy busy from mid early morning onwards. Our child is very little of an adventure hunter, so because sense we were lucky he wasn’t keen to go on every flight, which is just as well as the lines for nearly whatever were at least 45 minutes just for the smaller trips. However, managed to get on a couple of (Ninjago, Deep Sea Experience, Destiny’s Bounty) with not too bad queuing times. Mythica took permanently (it broke down periodically whilst queuing!), but was excellent, albeit brief for the amount of time queuing! Our kid liked Miniland which was great as was the only location that was quieter. We spent for lunch ahead of time at Pirates Hamburger Kitchen (arrived just after 12 and got in after a short wait, long lines after that!). It was great and conserved carrying a picnic around (although take a lot of snacks with you for queues !!). We didn’t invest much there as had spent for lunch beforehand and took drinks/snacks with us. Overall a good day but less people would make it a better and more enjoyable experience!

Entry and exit
Parking was strange, as they ask you to leave a space of one cars and truck in between cars due to social distancing. We arrived late early morning, so after a while of driving about trying to find a complimentary and not a very faraway area, we simply parked in among those empty spots … I think leaving a space between automobiles is anticipated in the morning, so individuals keep their distance. By the time we were parking there was barely anyone there..
On entry our temperature was taken, and bags cursorily checked. As we got here around 11.30 AM there were no queues and we got straight in, very fast process.
As we showed up late, we were really late leaving, and again went out and drove out with no waiting around..
Coronavirus measures inside the park.
You have to use a mask on some of the flights if you are over 11 years old. Anything that is inside, and some of the bigger flights are ones where mask is compulsory. Do bring a recyclable one, or purchase one from the stores, but the flight attendants likewise give out disposable ones for people that have actually forgotten theirs.. Legoland Birmingham Or Windsor
On the flights, there will be empty rows or seats between different household groups. The trips are also routinely cleaned – some appear to be sprayed after each run like Mia’s Riding Experience, and some occasionally cleaned with wipes, like Fairytale Brook. On the Monster Houseparty there were also additional air filterers inside, and family groups were asked to sit and stand spaced apart – I presume similar measures remain in location in other inside rides/attractions too..
Couple of trips were closed due to social distancing steps or arranged upkeep, however total I felt there was plenty of attractions and trips left..
Lots of hand sanitisers are dotted around the park, and on entry and exit for all the rides. People did appear to use them rather frequently..
There was a one way system for all the stores, and masks had to be worn. We didn’t go to any of the inside Lego exhibits, and actually don’t even understand if they are open. If they are open, a one way system and a mask would definitely remain in place in those too..
There are markers on the ground with arrows pointing that people ought to stroll on the left hand side – many people neglected this to be truthful, and the indications were quite simple to miss out on anyway..
Sorry to say this, however if you are worried about social distancing, an amusement park is not for you and Legoland will not be a good experience for you. People are walking all over the place, not paying a blind little bit of attention to social distancing, virtually bumping into each other..
It does appear that the consumption of individuals is lower, however due to the coronavirus measures the rides take less individuals in and additional cleaning produces pauses in the service. This means that the queues are as long as ever. While there are social distancing tips on the ground people simply do not take note of them. And even if individuals did, the way the queues snake around you would be standing really close to the people on your left and best anyway..
Can you stay overnight at Legoland?
I was not extremely worried. I would have chosen great social distancing, however I did not let it ruin my day.
We brought our own picnic, however if you want to purchase food at Legoland, be mindful that there might be long lines for food and only minimal food places are open..
Additionally for beverages there are a couple of (not numerous) beverage dispensers around the park – I saw one at Heartlake City and around the driving trips. The all you can drink soft beverages will not work without the unique cup. Legoland Birmingham Or Windsor
