We got the supreme reserve & ride. It’s makes the trip extremely costly however it ensured the kids actually got to go on a decent quantity of trips.
When it was known as qbot & you had the pager type thing to bring around, we had actually used it before.
The website/app is alot much easier to use. Now legoland isn’t limited to the number of pagers readily available it meant alot more people had the r & r which resulted in waiting in queues anyway.
You also can’t use it on the more recent attractions. Its a terrific park for kids under 13. After that, the older ones might find it uninteresting.
We chose our boys 9th birthday, and he had a fun time. Gotten to 09.30, having spent for standard parking beforehand (not sure what the point of priority parking is unless you have severe movement concerns, as we were only a few mins stroll from the entrance?). The park itself was fine to begin with, however started to get crazy busy from mid early morning onwards. Our child is not much of an excitement applicant, so in that sense we were lucky he wasn’t eager to go on every single ride, which is just as well as the queues for nearly whatever were at least 45 minutes just for the smaller flights. Handled to get on a couple of (Ninjago, Deep Sea Adventure, Fate’s Bounty) with not too bad queuing times. Mythica took permanently (it broke down periodically whilst queuing!), however was terrific, albeit short for the quantity of time queuing! Our son liked Miniland which was excellent as was the only location that was quieter. We paid for lunch in advance at Pirates Hamburger Kitchen area (got there just after 12 and got in after a brief wait, long queues after that!). It was great and conserved carrying a picnic around (although take lots of snacks with you for queues !!). We didn’t invest much there as had paid for lunch in advance and took drinks/snacks with us. Overall a good day however less people would make it a far better and more pleasant experience!

Entry and exit
Parking was odd, as they ask you to leave a space of one car in between automobiles due to social distancing. We arrived late early morning, so after a while of driving about trying to find a complimentary and not a really faraway spot, we just parked in one of those empty areas … I believe leaving a space in between cars is anticipated in the early morning, so people keep their range. By the time we were parking there was barely anybody there..
On entry our temperature was taken, and bags cursorily checked. Tickets were scanned off our phones. As we got here around 11.30 AM there were no lines and we got directly in, extremely quick procedure. I have actually seen some reviews mentioning that morning queues can get very long due to these checks..
As we arrived late, we were very late leaving, and again went out and eliminated without any lingering..
Coronavirus measures inside the park.
You have to wear a mask on some of the flights if you are over 11 years old. Anything that is inside, and a few of the larger trips are ones where mask is compulsory. Do bring a reusable one, or buy one from the stores, but the trip attendants also give out non reusable ones for people that have forgotten theirs.. Legoland Discovery Centre Windsor
On the trips, there will be empty rows or seats in between various household groups. The rides are also frequently cleaned up – some seem sprayed after each run like Mia’s Riding Experience, and some occasionally cleaned up with wipes, like Fairy tale Brook. On the Monster House Party there were also extra air filterers within, and family groups were asked to stand and sit spaced apart – I presume comparable measures are in location in other inside rides/attractions too..
Few trips were closed due to social distancing procedures or set up upkeep, but total I felt there was a lot of tourist attractions and rides left..
Plenty of hand sanitisers are dotted around the park, and on entry and exit for all the rides. People did seem to use them rather frequently..
There was a one way system for all the shops, and masks needed to be used. We didn’t go to any of the inside Lego exhibitions, and actually do not even know if they are open. If they are open, a one way system and a mask would certainly be in location in those too..
There are markers on the ground with arrows pointing that individuals must stroll on the left hand side – the majority of people disregarded this to be sincere, and the indications were rather simple to miss out on anyhow..
Sorry to say this, however if you are worried about social distancing, a theme park is not for you and Legoland will not be a great experience for you. People are strolling all over the place, not paying a blind bit of attention to social distancing, practically bumping into each other..
It does appear that the consumption of people is lower, but due to the coronavirus determines the flights take less people in and extra cleaning develops stops briefly in the service. While there are social distancing reminders on the ground people just don’t pay attention to them.
Can you stay overnight at Legoland?
I personally was not too delighted with this aspect of the go to, but at the same time, it being outdoors and us being relatively young and healthy (and we have actually most likely had it currently anyhow!) I was not excessively worried. I would have preferred excellent social distancing, but I did not let it destroy my day. People are out there having a good time, they forget, and it simply unfortunately happens..
We brought our own picnic, however if you want to purchase food at Legoland, be mindful that there might be long lines for food and only limited food places are open..
Furthermore for beverages there are a couple of (not lots of) drink dispensers around the park – I saw one at Heartlake City and around the driving rides. The all you can consume soft beverages will not work without the unique cup. Legoland Discovery Centre Windsor
