We got the ultimate reserve & ride. It’s makes the trip extremely costly but it guaranteed the kids really got to go on a decent quantity of trips.
When it was known as qbot & you had the pager type thing to bring around, we had actually utilized it before.
The website/app is alot simpler to utilize. Nevertheless now legoland isn’t restricted to the number of pagers available it suggested alot more people had the r & r which resulted in waiting in lines anyhow.
You also can’t utilize it on the newer attractions. Its a fantastic park for kids under 13. After that, the older ones may discover it dull.
We went for our boys 9th birthday, and he had a great time. Arrived at 09.30, having paid for standard parking ahead of time (not sure what the point of priority parking is unless you have major mobility concerns, as we were just a couple of minutes walk from the entryway?). The park itself was great to begin with, but began to get insane busy from mid morning onwards. Our son is not much of an adventure hunter, so in that sense we were fortunate he wasn’t keen to go on every trip, which is just as well as the lines for nearly everything were at least 45 minutes just for the smaller rides. However, managed to get on a few (Ninjago, Deep Sea Adventure, Fate’s Bounty) with not too bad queuing times. Mythica took forever (it broke down occasionally whilst queuing!), however was great, albeit short for the amount of time queuing! Our kid enjoyed Miniland which was good as was the only place that was quieter. We spent for lunch ahead of time at Pirates Burger Cooking area (arrived just after 12 and got in after a short wait, long lines after that!). It was great and conserved carrying a picnic around (although take plenty of treats with you for lines !!). We didn’t invest much there as had actually paid for lunch ahead of time and took drinks/snacks with us. In general a good day but less individuals would make it a far better and more pleasant experience!

Entry and exit
Parking was weird, as they ask you to leave an area of one car in between cars due to social distancing. We arrived late early morning, so after a while of driving about looking for a complimentary and not an extremely faraway area, we just parked in one of those empty areas … I believe leaving an area between automobiles is expected in the early morning, so people keep their range. By the time we were parking there was hardly anyone there..
On entry our temperature level was taken, and bags cursorily checked. Tickets were scanned off our phones. As we arrived around 11.30 AM there were no queues and we got straight in, extremely fast process. I have seen some reviews specifying that early morning lines can get long due to these checks..
As we got here late, we were really late leaving, and once again left and eliminated with no lingering..
Coronavirus determines inside the park.
You have to wear a mask on some of the flights if you are over 11 years old. Anything that is inside, and some of the larger trips are ones where mask is required. Do bring a multiple-use one, or buy one from the shops, but the ride attendants also provide disposable ones for individuals that have forgotten theirs.. Legoland Windsor Christmas
On the rides, there will be empty rows or seats between different family groups. The trips are also routinely cleaned – some appear to be sprayed after each run like Mia’s Riding Adventure, and some regularly cleaned with wipes, like Fairytale Brook. On the Beast Houseparty there were likewise additional air filterers within, and household groups were asked to sit and stand spaced apart – I believe comparable measures remain in place in other inside rides/attractions too..
Few trips were closed due to social distancing measures or scheduled upkeep, but total I felt there was lots of tourist attractions and rides left..
A lot of hand sanitisers are dotted around the park, and on entry and exit for all the trips. Individuals did seem to use them quite frequently..
There was a one way system for all the shops, and masks had to be used. We didn’t go to any of the within Lego exhibitions, and actually don’t even understand if they are open. If they are open, a one method system and a mask would certainly be in location in those too..
There are markers on the ground with arrows pointing that individuals must stroll on the left hand side – the majority of people ignored this to be truthful, and the indications were quite easy to miss out on anyhow..
Sorry to state this, however if you are concerned with social distancing, a theme park is not for you and Legoland will not be a great experience for you. Individuals are strolling all over the place, not paying a blind little attention to social distancing, virtually bumping into each other..
It does appear that the consumption of individuals is lower, but due to the coronavirus measures the trips take less people in and additional cleansing creates stops briefly in the service. This suggests that the queues are as long as ever. While there are social distancing suggestions on the ground people simply do not take note of them. And even if individuals did, the method the queues snake around you would be standing extremely close to the people on your left and best anyway..
Can you stay overnight at Legoland?
I personally was not too pleased with this element of the see, but at the same time, it being outdoors and us being healthy and reasonably young (and we have actually most likely had it already anyway!) I was not overly concerned. I would have preferred excellent social distancing, but I did not let it ruin my day. People are out there having a good time, they forget, and it simply sadly takes place..
We brought our own picnic, however if you wish to buy food at Legoland, be mindful that there might be long queues for food and just restricted food places are open..
For beverage and ice creams there were a lot of stalls around. Additionally for drinks there are a couple of (few) beverage dispensers around the park – I saw one at Heartlake City and around the driving trips. You can purchase a cup (offers from , 8- , 12 per cup), which you can then fill as often as you like with a range of soft drinks. You can likewise fill your own water bottles free of charge, however sorry to say, only water is totally free! The all you can drink soft drinks will not work without the unique cup.
