We got the ultimate reserve & ride. It’s makes the journey really pricey but it ensured the kids in fact got to go on a good amount of rides.
We had utilized it before when it was known as qbot & you had the pager type thing to bring around.
The website/app is alot simpler to use. However now legoland isn’t limited to the number of pagers readily available it indicated alot more individuals had the r & r which led to waiting in lines anyway.
You also can’t utilize it on the newer attractions. Its a great park for kids under 13. After that, the older ones might find it dull.

We opted for our sons 9th birthday, and he had a good time. Come to 09.30, having paid for standard parking beforehand (unsure what the point of concern parking is unless you have severe mobility issues, as we were just a couple of mins stroll from the entryway?). The park itself was great to begin with, but began to get insane busy from mid early morning onwards. Our boy is not much of a thrill candidate, so because sense we were fortunate he wasn’t keen to go on every flight, which is just as well as the lines for nearly whatever were at least 45 minutes just for the smaller sized flights. Nevertheless, managed to get on a couple of (Ninjago, Deep Sea Adventure, Fate’s Bounty) with not too bad queuing times. Mythica took permanently (it broke down occasionally whilst queuing!), but was terrific, albeit brief for the amount of time queuing! Our child liked Miniland which was great as was the only location that was quieter. We paid for lunch beforehand at Pirates Burger Kitchen area (arrived just after 12 and got in after a short wait, long lines after that!). It was great and saved lugging a picnic around (although take a lot of snacks with you for queues !!). We didn’t spend much there as had actually paid for lunch in advance and took drinks/snacks with us. In general a good day however less people would make it a far better and more pleasant experience!

Entry and exit

Parking was unusual, as they ask you to leave an area of one automobile between cars due to social distancing. We showed up late early morning, so after a while of driving about searching for a complimentary and not a very distant area, we simply parked in among those empty spots … I think leaving an area in between vehicles is expected in the early morning, so people keep their range. By the time we were parking there was hardly anyone there..

On entry our temperature was taken, and bags cursorily examined. Tickets were scanned off our phones. As we got here around 11.30 AM there were no lines and we got straight in, extremely quick procedure. I have actually seen some reviews specifying that morning queues can get very long due to these checks..

As we showed up late, we were very late leaving, and again left and eliminated without any lingering..

Coronavirus measures inside the park.

You have to wear a mask on some of the trips if you are over 11 years old. Anything that is inside your home, and some of the bigger rides are ones where mask is mandatory. Do bring a reusable one, or buy one from the stores, however the flight attendants also provide disposable ones for individuals that have actually forgotten theirs.. Legoland Windsor Holidays

On the rides, there will be empty rows or seats between different household groups. The flights are also regularly cleaned – some seem sprayed after each run like Mia’s Riding Experience, and some occasionally cleaned up with wipes, like Fairy tale Brook. On the Beast House Party there were also additional air filterers inside, and family groups were asked to stand and sit spaced apart – I believe similar steps remain in location in other inside rides/attractions too..

Few rides were closed due to social distancing measures or scheduled maintenance, but general I felt there was plenty of rides and tourist attractions left..

Lots of hand sanitisers are dotted around the park, and on entry and exit for all the trips. Individuals did appear to use them rather frequently..

There was a one way system for all the shops, and masks had to be used. We didn’t go to any of the within Lego exhibitions, and actually don’t even know if they are open. If they are open, a one method system and a mask would certainly be in location in those too..

There are markers on the ground with arrows pointing that individuals ought to walk on the left hand side – most people neglected this to be honest, and the indications were quite simple to miss out on anyway..

Social distancing.

Sorry to say this, but if you are worried about social distancing, a theme park is not for you and Legoland will not be a great experience for you. People are strolling all over the place, not paying a blind little bit of attention to social distancing, virtually running into each other..

It does appear that the consumption of individuals is lower, however due to the coronavirus determines the flights take less people in and additional cleaning produces pauses in the service. This implies that the queues are as long as ever. While there are social distancing reminders on the ground people simply do not pay attention to them. And even if people did, the way the queues snake around you would be standing really near the people on your left and best anyhow..

Can you stay overnight at Legoland?

I was not extremely concerned. I would have preferred great social distancing, however I did not let it destroy my day.

We brought our own picnic, but if you want to buy food at Legoland, be mindful that there might be long queues for food and just limited food places are open..

For drink and ice creams there were plenty of stalls around. Furthermore for beverages there are a couple of (few) beverage dispensers around the park – I saw one at Heartlake City and around the driving trips. You can buy a cup (offers from , 8- , 12 per cup), which you can then fill as often as you like with a range of soft drinks. You can also fill your own water bottles totally free, but sorry to say, just water is free! The all you can drink soft drinks will not work without the unique cup. Legoland Windsor Holidays
