We got the ultimate reserve & flight. It’s makes the journey very pricey but it ensured the kids really got to go on a decent quantity of rides.
When it was known as qbot & you had the pager type thing to bring around, we had used it prior to.
The website/app is alot easier to use. Nevertheless now legoland isn’t restricted to the number of pagers readily available it meant alot more individuals had the r & r which led to waiting in queues anyway.
You also can’t use it on the newer attractions. Its a fantastic park for kids under 13. After that, the older ones might find it uninteresting.
We went for our boys 9th birthday, and he had a great time. Reached 09.30, having spent for standard parking beforehand (unsure what the point of top priority parking is unless you have severe movement concerns, as we were only a few minutes walk from the entrance?). The park itself was fine to begin with, but started to get insane busy from mid early morning onwards. Our son is very little of an adventure hunter, so in that sense we were fortunate he wasn’t keen to go on every ride, which is just as well as the lines for almost whatever were at least 45 minutes just for the smaller rides. Managed to get on a couple of (Ninjago, Deep Sea Experience, Fate’s Bounty) with not too bad queuing times. Mythica took permanently (it broke down periodically whilst queuing!), however was terrific, albeit brief for the quantity of time queuing! Our boy loved Miniland which was good as was the only location that was quieter. We spent for lunch in advance at Pirates Burger Kitchen (got there just after 12 and got in after a brief wait, long queues after that!). It was fine and saved carrying a picnic around (although take plenty of snacks with you for lines !!). We didn’t spend much there as had actually spent for lunch beforehand and took drinks/snacks with us. Overall a good day however less people would make it a better and more enjoyable experience!

Entry and exit
Parking was unusual, as they ask you to leave a space of one car in between cars and trucks due to social distancing. We showed up late morning, so after a while of driving about searching for a complimentary and not an extremely distant spot, we just parked in among those empty spots … I presume leaving an area in between cars and trucks is expected in the morning, so individuals keep their distance. By the time we were parking there was hardly anyone there..
On entry our temperature was taken, and bags cursorily examined. Tickets were scanned off our phones. As we showed up around 11.30 AM there were no queues and we got directly in, really fast process. I have seen some evaluations stating that morning lines can get very long due to these checks..
As we showed up late, we were very late leaving, and once again went out and eliminated with no lingering..
Coronavirus determines inside the park.
If you are over 11 years old, you need to use a mask on a few of the trips. Anything that is inside, and a few of the larger flights are ones where mask is compulsory. Do bring a recyclable one, or buy one from the stores, however the flight attendants likewise give out disposable ones for people that have actually forgotten theirs.. Legoland Windsor Ice Cream
On the trips, there will be empty rows or seats between different family groups. The flights are also frequently cleaned up – some seem sprayed after each run like Mia’s Riding Experience, and some periodically cleaned with wipes, like Fairy tale Brook. On the Beast House Party there were also extra air filterers within, and family groups were asked to sit and stand spaced apart – I think similar measures are in location in other inside rides/attractions too..
Few flights were closed due to social distancing procedures or scheduled upkeep, but general I felt there was lots of destinations and rides left..
Lots of hand sanitisers are dotted around the park, and on entry and exit for all the rides. People did seem to use them quite often..
There was a one method system for all the shops, and masks needed to be worn. We didn’t go to any of the within Lego exhibits, and really don’t even know if they are open. If they are open, a one way system and a mask would certainly be in place in those too..
There are markers on the ground with arrows pointing that individuals need to walk on the left hand side – most people ignored this to be sincere, and the signs were rather simple to miss out on anyhow..
Sorry to state this, however if you are concerned with social distancing, an amusement park is not for you and Legoland will not be a great experience for you. Individuals are strolling all over the place, not paying a blind little attention to social distancing, virtually bumping into each other..
It does appear that the consumption of people is lower, but due to the coronavirus measures the rides take less individuals in and additional cleaning produces stops briefly in the service. This indicates that the queues are as long as ever. While there are social distancing tips on the ground individuals simply don’t take notice of them. And even if individuals did, the way the queues snake around you would be standing extremely near individuals on your left and ideal anyhow..
Can you stay overnight at Legoland?
I was not extremely worried. I would have preferred excellent social distancing, but I did not let it ruin my day.
We brought our own picnic, however if you want to buy food at Legoland, be conscious that there may be long queues for food and only restricted food locations are open..
Additionally for drinks there are a few (not lots of) drink dispensers around the park – I saw one at Heartlake City and around the driving flights. The all you can drink soft drinks will not work without the special cup. Legoland Windsor Ice Cream
