With over 55 interactive rides, live shows, building workshops, driving schools and destinations, all set in 150 acres of stunning parkland, the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is a distinct style park for the whole household to enjoy.

We got the ultimate reserve & trip. It’s makes the trip really expensive however it guaranteed the kids really got to go on a good amount of rides.
When it was known as qbot & you had the pager type thing to bring around, we had used it prior to.
The website/app is alot simpler to use. However now legoland isn’t limited to the number of pagers offered it implied alot more individuals had the r & r which led to waiting in lines anyway.
You likewise can’t use it on the more recent attractions. Its a terrific park for kids under 13. After that, the older ones may discover it dull.

We opted for our sons 9th birthday, and he had a fun time. Gotten to 09.30, having paid for basic parking in advance (unsure what the point of priority parking is unless you have major movement problems, as we were only a few minutes stroll from the entryway?). The park itself was great to begin with, however started to get insane busy from mid early morning onwards. Our child is very little of an adventure hunter, so in that sense we were fortunate he wasn’t keen to go on each and every single ride, which is just as well as the queues for almost everything were at least 45 mins just for the smaller trips. Managed to get on a couple of (Ninjago, Deep Sea Adventure, Destiny’s Bounty) with not too bad queuing times. Mythica took permanently (it broke down periodically whilst queuing!), however was excellent, albeit short for the quantity of time queuing! Our son loved Miniland which was excellent as was the only location that was quieter. We paid for lunch ahead of time at Pirates Burger Cooking area (arrived just after 12 and got in after a brief wait, long queues after that!). It was great and conserved lugging a picnic around (although take a lot of snacks with you for queues !!). We didn’t invest much there as had paid for lunch in advance and took drinks/snacks with us. Overall a good day but less individuals would make it a far better and more enjoyable experience!

Entry and exit

Parking was unusual, as they ask you to leave a space of one automobile between cars due to social distancing. We arrived late morning, so after a while of driving about trying to find a free and not an extremely faraway area, we just parked in one of those empty areas … I think leaving a space between cars and trucks is anticipated in the early morning, so people keep their range. By the time we were parking there was barely anyone there..

On entry our temperature level was taken, and bags cursorily checked. Tickets were scanned off our phones. As we arrived around 11.30 AM there were no queues and we got straight in, extremely fast process. I have actually seen some evaluations specifying that morning lines can get very long due to these checks..

As we arrived late, we were extremely late leaving, and again left and drove out with no waiting around..

Coronavirus determines inside the park.

You have to use a mask on some of the rides if you are over 11 years old. Anything that is indoors, and some of the bigger trips are ones where mask is obligatory. Do bring a multiple-use one, or buy one from the shops, but the trip attendants also provide disposable ones for people that have forgotten theirs.. Legoland Windsor Jobs

On the trips, there will be empty rows or seats between various family groups. The trips are also regularly cleaned – some appear to be sprayed after each run like Mia’s Riding Experience, and some regularly cleaned up with wipes, like Fairytale Brook. On the Monster Houseparty there were likewise additional air filterers within, and family groups were asked to stand and sit spaced apart – I presume comparable procedures remain in place in other inside rides/attractions too..

Few flights were closed due to social distancing steps or arranged maintenance, but general I felt there was lots of trips and tourist attractions left..

Plenty of hand sanitisers are dotted around the park, and on entry and exit for all the flights. Individuals did seem to utilize them quite regularly..

There was a one method system for all the stores, and masks needed to be worn. We didn’t go to any of the inside Lego exhibitions, and actually don’t even understand if they are open. If they are open, a one method system and a mask would definitely be in place in those too..

There are markers on the ground with arrows pointing that people should walk on the left hand side – most people overlooked this to be sincere, and the signs were quite easy to miss out on anyhow..

Social distancing.

Sorry to state this, but if you are interested in social distancing, an amusement park is not for you and Legoland will not be a good experience for you. Individuals are walking all over the place, not paying a blind little attention to social distancing, virtually bumping into each other..

It does appear that the intake of people is lower, but due to the coronavirus determines the trips take less individuals in and extra cleansing produces stops briefly in the service. This means that the lines are as long as ever. While there are social distancing reminders on the ground individuals simply don’t take note of them. And even if individuals did, the way the queues snake around you would be standing very near the people on your left and right anyway..

Can you stay overnight at Legoland?

I was not overly concerned. I would have preferred good social distancing, but I did not let it ruin my day.

We brought our own picnic, but if you want to purchase food at Legoland, be conscious that there may be long lines for food and only minimal food places are open..

For drink and ice creams there were lots of stalls around. In addition for drinks there are a few (not many) drink dispensers around the park – I saw one at Heartlake City and around the driving trips. You can purchase a cup (deals from , 8- , 12 per cup), which you can then fill as often as you like with a variety of sodas. You can likewise fill your own water bottles totally free, but sorry to say, only water is totally free! The all you can consume sodas will not work without the special cup. Legoland Windsor Jobs
