We got the ultimate reserve & ride. It’s makes the journey extremely expensive however it guaranteed the kids in fact got to go on a decent quantity of rides.
We had actually used it before when it was called qbot & you had the pager type thing to bring around.
The website/app is alot easier to use. However now legoland isn’t restricted to the variety of pagers readily available it implied alot more individuals had the r & r which led to waiting in queues anyway.
You likewise can’t use it on the more recent attractions. Its a great park for kids under 13. After that, the older ones might find it dull.
We opted for our sons 9th birthday, and he had a fun time. Gotten to 09.30, having paid for basic parking beforehand (not exactly sure what the point of priority parking is unless you have severe movement problems, as we were just a few mins stroll from the entryway?). The park itself was fine to begin with, but began to get insane busy from mid morning onwards. Our kid is very little of an excitement candidate, so in that sense we were fortunate he wasn’t eager to go on every single flight, which is just as well as the lines for nearly everything were at least 45 mins just for the smaller sized trips. Handled to get on a couple of (Ninjago, Deep Sea Adventure, Fate’s Bounty) with not too bad queuing times. Mythica took forever (it broke down occasionally whilst queuing!), but was fantastic, albeit brief for the quantity of time queuing! Our child enjoyed Miniland which was excellent as was the only location that was quieter. We paid for lunch in advance at Pirates Hamburger Kitchen area (got there just after 12 and got in after a short wait, long queues after that!). It was fine and saved lugging a picnic around (although take lots of snacks with you for queues !!). We didn’t invest much there as had actually spent for lunch in advance and took drinks/snacks with us. Overall a good day but less people would make it a better and more enjoyable experience!

Entry and exit
Parking was weird, as they ask you to leave an area of one vehicle between cars due to social distancing. We arrived late early morning, so after a while of driving about looking for a totally free and not a very faraway area, we just parked in among those empty spots … I presume leaving a space between vehicles is expected in the early morning, so individuals keep their distance. By the time we were parking there was hardly anyone there..
On entry our temperature level was taken, and bags cursorily checked. Tickets were scanned off our phones. As we showed up around 11.30 AM there were no lines and we got directly in, extremely fast procedure. I have seen some evaluations specifying that morning lines can get long due to these checks..
As we got here late, we were really late leaving, and once again went out and drove out with no waiting around..
Coronavirus measures inside the park.
You have to wear a mask on some of the flights if you are over 11 years old. Anything that is inside your home, and a few of the bigger flights are ones where mask is mandatory. Do bring a reusable one, or purchase one from the shops, but the ride attendants also offer non reusable ones for people that have actually forgotten theirs.. Legoland Windsor Miniland
On the rides, there will be empty rows or seats between different household groups. The rides are also routinely cleaned up – some appear to be sprayed after each run like Mia’s Riding Adventure, and some periodically cleaned with wipes, like Fairy tale Brook. On the Monster Houseparty there were also extra air filterers inside, and household groups were asked to sit and stand spaced apart – I presume comparable procedures remain in place in other inside rides/attractions too..
Few trips were closed due to social distancing procedures or arranged maintenance, but total I felt there was lots of attractions and rides left..
Plenty of hand sanitisers are dotted around the park, and on entry and exit for all the rides. People did seem to use them quite regularly..
There was a one method system for all the shops, and masks needed to be used. We didn’t go to any of the inside Lego exhibits, and really do not even understand if they are open. If they are open, a one way system and a mask would definitely remain in location in those too..
There are markers on the ground with arrows pointing that people must walk on the left hand side – most people ignored this to be honest, and the signs were quite simple to miss anyway..
Sorry to say this, but if you are interested in social distancing, an amusement park is not for you and Legoland will not be a great experience for you. People are walking all over the place, not paying a blind little attention to social distancing, practically running into each other..
It does appear that the intake of individuals is lower, however due to the coronavirus measures the flights take less individuals in and additional cleansing creates pauses in the service. This suggests that the lines are as long as ever. While there are social distancing pointers on the ground individuals just don’t take note of them. And even if people did, the method the lines snake around you would be standing very near to the people on your left and best anyway..
Can you stay overnight at Legoland?
I personally was not too delighted with this aspect of the visit, however at the same time, it being outdoors and us being reasonably young and healthy (and we have actually probably had it already anyhow!) I was not extremely concerned. I would have chosen good social distancing, but I did not let it destroy my day. Individuals are out there having a good time, they forget, and it simply unfortunately happens..
We brought our own picnic, but if you wish to buy food at Legoland, be mindful that there may be long queues for food and only restricted food places are open..
For beverage and ice creams there were a lot of stalls around. In addition for drinks there are a few (few) beverage dispensers around the park – I saw one at Heartlake City and around the driving flights. You can purchase a cup (offers from , 8- , 12 per cup), which you can then fill as frequently as you like with a range of sodas. You can likewise fill your own water bottles for free, however sorry to state, just water is free! The all you can drink soft drinks will not work without the unique cup. Legoland Windsor Miniland
