With over 55 interactive rides, live shows, constructing workshops, driving destinations and schools, all set in 150 acres of beautiful parkland, the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is a special theme park for the whole household to enjoy.

We got the supreme reserve & ride. It’s makes the trip very expensive however it ensured the kids actually got to go on a decent quantity of rides.
We had used it prior to when it was referred to as qbot & you had the pager type thing to carry around.
The website/app is alot simpler to utilize. Now legoland isn’t restricted to the number of pagers available it meant alot more individuals had the r & r which resulted in waiting in queues anyway.
You likewise can’t use it on the newer attractions. Its a great park for kids under 13. After that, the older ones might discover it uninteresting.

We opted for our sons 9th birthday, and he had a fun time. Come to 09.30, having spent for basic parking beforehand (unsure what the point of concern parking is unless you have major mobility concerns, as we were just a few mins stroll from the entryway?). The park itself was fine to begin with, but began to get crazy busy from mid morning onwards. Our kid is very little of a thrill seeker, so in that sense we were fortunate he wasn’t keen to go on every trip, which is just as well as the queues for almost everything were at least 45 mins just for the smaller rides. Managed to get on a few (Ninjago, Deep Sea Experience, Fate’s Bounty) with not too bad queuing times. Mythica took permanently (it broke down occasionally whilst queuing!), but was fantastic, albeit short for the amount of time queuing! Our kid enjoyed Miniland which was great as was the only place that was quieter. We paid for lunch ahead of time at Pirates Burger Cooking area (arrived just after 12 and got in after a short wait, long lines after that!). It was great and conserved lugging a picnic around (although take plenty of snacks with you for lines !!). We didn’t spend much there as had actually paid for lunch beforehand and took drinks/snacks with us. In general a good day but less people would make it a far better and more enjoyable experience!

Entry and exit

Parking was odd, as they ask you to leave an area of one car between cars and trucks due to social distancing. We arrived late morning, so after a while of driving about looking for a free and not a really distant area, we just parked in one of those empty areas … I believe leaving a space in between cars is anticipated in the early morning, so individuals keep their distance. By the time we were parking there was hardly anybody there..

On entry our temperature level was taken, and bags cursorily inspected. As we arrived around 11.30 AM there were no lines and we got straight in, really quick procedure.

As we showed up late, we were extremely late leaving, and once again left and drove out with no waiting around..

Coronavirus determines inside the park.

If you are over 11 years old, you need to use a mask on some of the flights. Anything that is inside your home, and some of the larger rides are ones where mask is compulsory. Do bring a multiple-use one, or buy one from the stores, however the flight attendants likewise provide disposable ones for individuals that have forgotten theirs.. Legoland Windsor Nearby Hotels

On the rides, there will be empty rows or seats between different household groups. The flights are also routinely cleaned up – some seem sprayed after each run like Mia’s Riding Experience, and some periodically cleaned up with wipes, like Fairytale Brook. On the Monster House Party there were also additional air filterers inside, and household groups were asked to stand and sit spaced apart – I presume similar procedures are in location in other inside rides/attractions too..

Few rides were closed due to social distancing procedures or scheduled maintenance, but overall I felt there was a lot of tourist attractions and trips left..

Lots of hand sanitisers are dotted around the park, and on entry and exit for all the flights. People did appear to utilize them rather regularly..

There was a one way system for all the shops, and masks needed to be used. We didn’t go to any of the within Lego exhibits, and really don’t even understand if they are open. If they are open, a one method system and a mask would certainly be in place in those too..

There are markers on the ground with arrows pointing that people need to walk on the left hand side – many people ignored this to be sincere, and the indications were rather easy to miss out on anyhow..

Social distancing.

Sorry to say this, but if you are interested in social distancing, a theme park is not for you and Legoland will not be a great experience for you. Individuals are walking all over the place, not paying a blind bit of attention to social distancing, virtually bumping into each other..

It does appear that the consumption of individuals is lower, but due to the coronavirus determines the flights take less people in and additional cleansing produces stops briefly in the service. While there are social distancing reminders on the ground individuals just don’t pay attention to them.

Can you stay overnight at Legoland?

I personally was not too delighted with this aspect of the go to, however at the same time, it being outdoors and us being healthy and relatively young (and we have most likely had it currently anyhow!) I was not extremely concerned. I would have chosen great social distancing, but I did not let it destroy my day. People are out there having a good time, they forget, and it just sadly takes place..

We brought our own picnic, but if you wish to purchase food at Legoland, be mindful that there may be long queues for food and only restricted food locations are open..

For beverage and ice creams there were plenty of stalls around. Furthermore for drinks there are a couple of (not many) beverage dispensers around the park – I saw one at Heartlake City and around the driving trips. You can buy a cup (deals from , 8- , 12 per cup), which you can then fill as frequently as you like with a variety of soft drinks. You can likewise fill your own water bottles for free, however sorry to state, just water is free! The all you can consume soft drinks won’t work without the special cup.
