With over 55 interactive trips, live programs, building workshops, driving tourist attractions and schools, all set in 150 acres of beautiful parkland, the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is a special theme park for the entire family to enjoy.

We got the supreme reserve & ride. It’s makes the journey extremely pricey however it made sure the kids actually got to go on a good quantity of trips.
We had used it before when it was referred to as qbot & you had the pager type thing to bring around.
The website/app is alot easier to utilize. Now legoland isn’t restricted to the number of pagers readily available it suggested alot more individuals had the r & r which resulted in waiting in queues anyway.
You likewise can’t use it on the newer attractions. Its an excellent park for kids under 13. After that, the older ones may find it boring.

We went for our sons 9th birthday, and he had a great time. Reached 09.30, having paid for basic parking beforehand (not sure what the point of top priority parking is unless you have serious mobility problems, as we were only a few minutes stroll from the entryway?). The park itself was great to begin with, but started to get crazy busy from mid early morning onwards. Our child is not much of an adventure applicant, so because sense we were lucky he wasn’t eager to go on each and every single ride, which is just as well as the lines for almost everything were at least 45 minutes just for the smaller rides. Managed to get on a couple of (Ninjago, Deep Sea Adventure, Fate’s Bounty) with not too bad queuing times. Mythica took permanently (it broke down occasionally whilst queuing!), however was fantastic, albeit short for the quantity of time queuing! Our boy liked Miniland which was good as was the only location that was quieter. We paid for lunch in advance at Pirates Hamburger Kitchen (got there just after 12 and got in after a short wait, long lines after that!). It was fine and saved carrying a picnic around (although take lots of treats with you for lines !!). We didn’t invest much there as had spent for lunch in advance and took drinks/snacks with us. In general a good day but less individuals would make it a better and more pleasant experience!

Entry and exit

Parking was odd, as they ask you to leave a space of one vehicle in between vehicles due to social distancing. We got here late early morning, so after a while of driving about trying to find a free and not a very distant area, we simply parked in among those empty areas … I presume leaving a space between cars is anticipated in the early morning, so individuals keep their range. By the time we were parking there was barely anyone there..

On entry our temperature level was taken, and bags cursorily checked. Tickets were scanned off our phones. As we arrived around 11.30 AM there were no queues and we got directly in, really fast procedure. I have actually seen some reviews mentioning that morning lines can get very long due to these checks..

As we arrived late, we were extremely late leaving, and once again walked out and drove out with no waiting around..

Coronavirus measures inside the park.

If you are over 11 years old, you need to use a mask on some of the trips. Anything that is inside your home, and a few of the bigger flights are ones where mask is compulsory. Do bring a recyclable one, or purchase one from the shops, however the trip attendants likewise provide disposable ones for people that have actually forgotten theirs.. Legoland Windsor Quiet Days

On the flights, there will be empty rows or seats between different family groups. The rides are also regularly cleaned up – some appear to be sprayed after each run like Mia’s Riding Adventure, and some periodically cleaned up with wipes, like Fairytale Brook. On the Monster Houseparty there were also extra air filterers inside, and household groups were asked to stand and sit spaced apart – I presume similar measures remain in location in other inside rides/attractions too..

Few trips were closed due to social distancing measures or arranged maintenance, however total I felt there was a lot of flights and attractions left..

A lot of hand sanitisers are dotted around the park, and on entry and exit for all the flights. People did appear to use them quite often..

There was a one way system for all the stores, and masks needed to be worn. We didn’t go to any of the inside Lego exhibitions, and actually don’t even understand if they are open. If they are open, a one method system and a mask would certainly be in location in those too..

There are markers on the ground with arrows pointing that people must walk on the left hand side – many people ignored this to be honest, and the signs were rather simple to miss anyway..

Social distancing.

Sorry to say this, however if you are interested in social distancing, an amusement park is not for you and Legoland will not be a great experience for you. Individuals are strolling all over the place, not paying a blind little attention to social distancing, almost running into each other..

It does appear that the consumption of people is lower, however due to the coronavirus measures the rides take less people in and extra cleaning develops stops briefly in the service. This means that the queues are as long as ever. While there are social distancing pointers on the ground individuals just do not take notice of them. And even if individuals did, the way the queues snake around you would be standing really near individuals on your left and best anyway..

Can you stay overnight at Legoland?

I personally was not too pleased with this aspect of the see, but at the same time, it being outdoors and us being reasonably young and healthy (and we have probably had it currently anyhow!) I was not excessively concerned. I would have chosen good social distancing, but I did not let it ruin my day. Individuals are out there enjoying, they forget, and it simply unfortunately takes place..

We brought our own picnic, however if you wish to purchase food at Legoland, be conscious that there might be long queues for food and just limited food locations are open..

For beverage and ice creams there were a lot of stalls around. Furthermore for beverages there are a couple of (very few) beverage dispensers around the park – I saw one at Heartlake City and around the driving rides. You can purchase a cup (deals from , 8- , 12 per cup), which you can then fill as typically as you like with a variety of sodas. You can also fill your own water bottles free of charge, but sorry to state, only water is complimentary! The all you can drink sodas will not work without the unique cup. Legoland Windsor Quiet Days
