We got the supreme reserve & ride. It’s makes the journey very pricey but it made sure the kids really got to go on a decent amount of trips.
We had used it before when it was called qbot & you had the pager type thing to bring around.
The website/app is alot simpler to use. Now legoland isn’t restricted to the number of pagers readily available it suggested alot more individuals had the r & r which resulted in waiting in lines anyhow.
You also can’t use it on the newer attractions. Its an excellent park for kids under 13. After that, the older ones may discover it dull.

We opted for our boys 9th birthday, and he had a good time. Come to 09.30, having spent for standard parking ahead of time (uncertain what the point of concern parking is unless you have severe mobility concerns, as we were just a couple of mins walk from the entrance?). The park itself was great to begin with, however began to get insane busy from mid morning onwards. Our kid is not much of a thrill candidate, so in that sense we were fortunate he wasn’t eager to go on every trip, which is just as well as the lines for nearly everything were at least 45 minutes just for the smaller sized trips. Nevertheless, managed to get on a few (Ninjago, Deep Sea Experience, Destiny’s Bounty) with not too bad queuing times. Mythica took permanently (it broke down periodically whilst queuing!), but was terrific, albeit short for the amount of time queuing! Our child enjoyed Miniland which was great as was the only place that was quieter. We paid for lunch in advance at Pirates Burger Kitchen area (got there just after 12 and got in after a short wait, long queues after that!). It was fine and conserved carrying a picnic around (although take a lot of snacks with you for queues !!). We didn’t invest much there as had actually spent for lunch beforehand and took drinks/snacks with us. Overall a good day however less people would make it a far better and more pleasant experience!

Entry and exit

Parking was unusual, as they ask you to leave a space of one cars and truck in between vehicles due to social distancing. We got here late morning, so after a while of driving about trying to find a complimentary and not a really far spot, we just parked in among those empty areas … I believe leaving a space between vehicles is anticipated in the early morning, so people keep their distance. By the time we were parking there was hardly anybody there..

On entry our temperature was taken, and bags cursorily inspected. Tickets were scanned off our phones. As we showed up around 11.30 AM there were no queues and we got straight in, very quick procedure. I have actually seen some evaluations stating that early morning queues can get long due to these checks..

As we showed up late, we were very late leaving, and again went out and drove out without any waiting around..

Coronavirus measures inside the park.

You have to use a mask on some of the flights if you are over 11 years old. Anything that is indoors, and a few of the larger flights are ones where mask is obligatory. Do bring a reusable one, or buy one from the stores, but the trip attendants likewise provide non reusable ones for people that have forgotten theirs.. Legoland Windsor Reserve And Ride Review

On the rides, there will be empty rows or seats in between various family groups. The flights are also frequently cleaned up – some seem sprayed after each run like Mia’s Riding Experience, and some periodically cleaned with wipes, like Fairytale Brook. On the Beast House Party there were also extra air filterers within, and household groups were asked to sit and stand spaced apart – I presume similar procedures are in location in other inside rides/attractions too..

Couple of rides were closed due to social distancing measures or arranged upkeep, but overall I felt there was plenty of flights and destinations left..

Lots of hand sanitisers are dotted around the park, and on entry and exit for all the rides. Individuals did appear to use them quite frequently..

There was a one method system for all the shops, and masks needed to be worn. We didn’t go to any of the inside Lego exhibitions, and really don’t even know if they are open. If they are open, a one way system and a mask would certainly be in location in those too..

There are markers on the ground with arrows pointing that individuals should walk on the left hand side – most people ignored this to be truthful, and the indications were quite simple to miss out on anyway..

Social distancing.

Sorry to state this, but if you are concerned with social distancing, an amusement park is not for you and Legoland will not be a great experience for you. People are strolling all over the place, not paying a blind bit of attention to social distancing, virtually bumping into each other..

It does appear that the intake of individuals is lower, however due to the coronavirus measures the trips take less individuals in and extra cleaning develops pauses in the service. While there are social distancing pointers on the ground people just don’t pay attention to them.

Can you stay overnight at Legoland?

I was not extremely worried. I would have chosen great social distancing, however I did not let it destroy my day.

We brought our own picnic, however if you wish to buy food at Legoland, be conscious that there might be long queues for food and just minimal food locations are open..

Furthermore for beverages there are a couple of (not numerous) drink dispensers around the park – I saw one at Heartlake City and around the driving flights. The all you can consume soft beverages will not work without the unique cup. Legoland Windsor Reserve And Ride Review
