With over 55 interactive trips, live programs, developing workshops, driving schools and tourist attractions, all set in 150 acres of lovely parkland, the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is a distinct style park for the entire family to delight in.
We got the ultimate reserve & flight. It’s makes the trip really pricey but it made sure the kids in fact got to go on a good quantity of flights.
We had used it prior to when it was referred to as qbot & you had the pager type thing to carry around.
The website/app is alot simpler to utilize. Now legoland isn’t restricted to the number of pagers readily available it suggested alot more individuals had the r & r which resulted in waiting in queues anyway.
You likewise can’t utilize it on the more recent attractions. Its an excellent park for kids under 13. After that, the older ones may discover it uninteresting.
We chose our kids 9th birthday, and he had a good time. Reached 09.30, having spent for basic parking in advance (uncertain what the point of top priority parking is unless you have major mobility concerns, as we were only a few mins walk from the entryway?). The park itself was fine to begin with, but started to get crazy busy from mid early morning onwards. Our boy is not much of a thrill seeker, so because sense we were fortunate he wasn’t eager to go on every single trip, which is just as well as the queues for nearly whatever were at least 45 minutes just for the smaller sized flights. Handled to get on a few (Ninjago, Deep Sea Experience, Destiny’s Bounty) with not too bad queuing times. Mythica took forever (it broke down regularly whilst queuing!), but was great, albeit short for the amount of time queuing! Our boy loved Miniland which was excellent as was the only location that was quieter. We paid for lunch in advance at Pirates Burger Kitchen area (arrived just after 12 and got in after a short wait, long lines after that!). It was fine and saved carrying a picnic around (although take a lot of snacks with you for queues !!). We didn’t spend much there as had spent for lunch ahead of time and took drinks/snacks with us. Overall a good day however less people would make it a far better and more enjoyable experience!

Entry and exit
Parking was weird, as they ask you to leave an area of one automobile in between automobiles due to social distancing. We arrived late early morning, so after a while of driving about looking for a totally free and not an extremely distant spot, we simply parked in one of those empty spots … I suspect leaving an area in between cars and trucks is expected in the morning, so people keep their distance. By the time we were parking there was hardly anybody there..
On entry our temperature was taken, and bags cursorily checked. Tickets were scanned off our phones. As we arrived around 11.30 AM there were no lines and we got directly in, very quick process. I have actually seen some reviews mentioning that morning lines can get very long due to these checks..
As we arrived late, we were very late leaving, and again left and eliminated with no lingering..
Coronavirus determines inside the park.
You have to wear a mask on some of the rides if you are over 11 years old. Anything that is indoors, and a few of the larger rides are ones where mask is compulsory. Do bring a reusable one, or buy one from the stores, however the flight attendants also give out disposable ones for individuals that have forgotten theirs.. Legoland Windsor Resort
On the rides, there will be empty rows or seats between different family groups. The trips are likewise routinely cleaned up – some appear to be sprayed after each run like Mia’s Riding Experience, and some periodically cleaned with wipes, like Fairy tale Brook. On the Beast House Party there were also additional air filterers within, and family groups were asked to sit and stand spaced apart – I suspect comparable measures are in place in other inside rides/attractions too..
Couple of rides were closed due to social distancing procedures or set up maintenance, but overall I felt there was a lot of tourist attractions and rides left..
A lot of hand sanitisers are dotted around the park, and on entry and exit for all the trips. People did appear to utilize them rather frequently..
There was a one way system for all the stores, and masks had to be used. We didn’t go to any of the within Lego exhibitions, and actually don’t even know if they are open. If they are open, a one way system and a mask would certainly remain in location in those too..
There are markers on the ground with arrows pointing that individuals must stroll on the left hand side – the majority of people ignored this to be sincere, and the signs were quite simple to miss out on anyhow..
Sorry to say this, but if you are worried about social distancing, an amusement park is not for you and Legoland will not be an excellent experience for you. Individuals are strolling all over the place, not paying a blind bit of attention to social distancing, almost running into each other..
It does appear that the consumption of individuals is lower, but due to the coronavirus measures the flights take less people in and additional cleaning develops pauses in the service. This indicates that the lines are as long as ever. While there are social distancing tips on the ground individuals just do not pay attention to them. And even if individuals did, the way the queues snake around you would be standing really near individuals on your left and ideal anyhow..
Can you stay overnight at Legoland?
I was not excessively concerned. I would have chosen excellent social distancing, but I did not let it destroy my day.
We brought our own picnic, but if you wish to buy food at Legoland, be conscious that there might be long lines for food and just limited food places are open..
For beverage and ice creams there were lots of stalls around. Additionally for beverages there are a few (very few) beverage dispensers around the park – I saw one at Heartlake City and around the driving flights. You can purchase a cup (offers from , 8- , 12 per cup), which you can then fill as often as you like with a range of soft drinks. You can likewise fill your own water bottles free of charge, however sorry to say, just water is complimentary! The all you can drink sodas will not work without the unique cup.
