With over 55 interactive rides, live shows, developing workshops, driving schools and tourist attractions, all set in 150 acres of lovely parkland, the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is a special style park for the whole household to enjoy.
We got the supreme reserve & trip. It’s makes the trip really costly but it guaranteed the kids really got to go on a decent quantity of flights.
We had actually used it prior to when it was called qbot & you had the pager type thing to carry around.
The website/app is alot easier to use. However now legoland isn’t restricted to the variety of pagers offered it indicated alot more individuals had the r & r which led to waiting in queues anyway.
You likewise can’t use it on the newer attractions. Its a great park for kids under 13. After that, the older ones might find it uninteresting.
We opted for our boys 9th birthday, and he had a fun time. Reached 09.30, having paid for standard parking ahead of time (not sure what the point of priority parking is unless you have major mobility issues, as we were just a couple of mins walk from the entrance?). The park itself was great to begin with, however began to get insane busy from mid morning onwards. Our child is not much of an adventure hunter, so in that sense we were fortunate he wasn’t eager to go on each and every single ride, which is just as well as the lines for nearly whatever were at least 45 mins just for the smaller flights. Handled to get on a couple of (Ninjago, Deep Sea Experience, Fate’s Bounty) with not too bad queuing times. Mythica took permanently (it broke down regularly whilst queuing!), but was terrific, albeit brief for the amount of time queuing! Our boy liked Miniland which was good as was the only location that was quieter. We spent for lunch in advance at Pirates Hamburger Cooking area (arrived just after 12 and got in after a short wait, long lines after that!). It was great and saved lugging a picnic around (although take lots of snacks with you for lines !!). We didn’t spend much there as had actually paid for lunch ahead of time and took drinks/snacks with us. In general a good day but less individuals would make it a better and more pleasant experience!

Entry and exit
Parking was weird, as they ask you to leave an area of one car in between cars and trucks due to social distancing. We arrived late early morning, so after a while of driving about searching for a totally free and not a really faraway spot, we simply parked in one of those empty areas … I believe leaving a space in between cars and trucks is expected in the morning, so individuals keep their distance. By the time we were parking there was barely anyone there..
On entry our temperature level was taken, and bags cursorily checked. Tickets were scanned off our phones. As we got here around 11.30 AM there were no lines and we got straight in, very fast procedure. I have actually seen some evaluations specifying that morning lines can get long due to these checks..
As we showed up late, we were extremely late leaving, and again went out and eliminated with no waiting around..
Coronavirus determines inside the park.
You have to wear a mask on some of the flights if you are over 11 years old. Anything that is indoors, and some of the larger flights are ones where mask is mandatory. Do bring a multiple-use one, or purchase one from the stores, but the flight attendants also offer non reusable ones for people that have actually forgotten theirs.. Legoland Windsor Youtube 2019
On the rides, there will be empty rows or seats between various household groups. The flights are also regularly cleaned up – some appear to be sprayed after each run like Mia’s Riding Experience, and some occasionally cleaned up with wipes, like Fairytale Brook. On the Beast Houseparty there were also extra air filterers within, and family groups were asked to sit and stand spaced apart – I think comparable measures remain in place in other inside rides/attractions too..
Couple of trips were closed due to social distancing steps or arranged upkeep, but total I felt there was a lot of trips and tourist attractions left..
Lots of hand sanitisers are dotted around the park, and on entry and exit for all the flights. People did seem to use them rather often..
There was a one way system for all the stores, and masks needed to be used. We didn’t go to any of the within Lego exhibits, and in fact do not even know if they are open. If they are open, a one method system and a mask would definitely remain in location in those too..
There are markers on the ground with arrows pointing that people must walk on the left hand side – most people ignored this to be honest, and the indications were rather easy to miss anyway..
Sorry to state this, however if you are interested in social distancing, an amusement park is not for you and Legoland will not be an excellent experience for you. People are walking all over the place, not paying a blind little attention to social distancing, almost running into each other..
It does appear that the consumption of people is lower, however due to the coronavirus measures the trips take less people in and extra cleansing produces pauses in the service. This means that the lines are as long as ever. While there are social distancing reminders on the ground individuals just do not pay attention to them. And even if people did, the way the queues snake around you would be standing really near to the people on your left and ideal anyhow..
Can you stay overnight at Legoland?
I personally was not too happy with this element of the visit, however at the same time, it being outdoors and us being relatively young and healthy (and we have actually most likely had it currently anyway!) I was not excessively worried. I would have preferred excellent social distancing, however I did not let it destroy my day. People are out there enjoying, they forget, and it just regrettably occurs..
We brought our own picnic, but if you wish to purchase food at Legoland, be conscious that there might be long lines for food and only limited food locations are open..
Furthermore for drinks there are a couple of (not lots of) drink dispensers around the park – I saw one at Heartlake City and around the driving rides. The all you can consume soft drinks won’t work without the unique cup. Legoland Windsor Youtube 2019
