We got the ultimate reserve & ride. It’s makes the trip really pricey but it guaranteed the kids in fact got to go on a decent quantity of trips.
When it was understood as qbot & you had the pager type thing to bring around, we had actually used it prior to.
The website/app is alot much easier to utilize. Nevertheless now legoland isn’t restricted to the number of pagers readily available it suggested alot more individuals had the r & r which resulted in waiting in queues anyway.
You likewise can’t use it on the more recent attractions. Its a great park for kids under 13. After that, the older ones might discover it boring.
We chose our kids 9th birthday, and he had a fun time. Reached 09.30, having spent for basic parking beforehand (not sure what the point of concern parking is unless you have major movement issues, as we were just a couple of mins walk from the entrance?). The park itself was great to begin with, however began to get crazy hectic from mid morning onwards. Our kid is not much of a thrill seeker, so in that sense we were fortunate he wasn’t keen to go on each and every single trip, which is just as well as the queues for almost everything were at least 45 minutes just for the smaller flights. Managed to get on a couple of (Ninjago, Deep Sea Experience, Destiny’s Bounty) with not too bad queuing times. Mythica took permanently (it broke down occasionally whilst queuing!), however was terrific, albeit brief for the quantity of time queuing! Our son liked Miniland which was excellent as was the only location that was quieter. We paid for lunch ahead of time at Pirates Burger Kitchen area (arrived just after 12 and got in after a brief wait, long queues after that!). It was fine and conserved lugging a picnic around (although take lots of treats with you for queues !!). We didn’t invest much there as had paid for lunch beforehand and took drinks/snacks with us. Overall a good day but less people would make it a far better and more pleasant experience!

Entry and exit
Parking was weird, as they ask you to leave a space of one vehicle between vehicles due to social distancing. We arrived late early morning, so after a while of driving about trying to find a free and not an extremely distant area, we just parked in among those empty spots … I suspect leaving an area in between cars is expected in the early morning, so individuals keep their distance. By the time we were parking there was barely anyone there..
On entry our temperature level was taken, and bags cursorily inspected. As we arrived around 11.30 AM there were no lines and we got straight in, really quick procedure.
As we showed up late, we were extremely late leaving, and again left and eliminated without any waiting around..
Coronavirus determines inside the park.
You have to wear a mask on some of the trips if you are over 11 years old. Anything that is inside, and a few of the bigger trips are ones where mask is obligatory. Do bring a multiple-use one, or buy one from the shops, but the ride attendants likewise provide disposable ones for people that have forgotten theirs.. Legoland Windsor Youtube
On the flights, there will be empty rows or seats in between different family groups. The rides are likewise regularly cleaned – some seem sprayed after each run like Mia’s Riding Adventure, and some occasionally cleaned with wipes, like Fairytale Brook. On the Monster Houseparty there were likewise additional air filterers inside, and family groups were asked to stand and sit spaced apart – I believe similar measures are in location in other inside rides/attractions too..
Couple of rides were closed due to social distancing procedures or arranged upkeep, but general I felt there was plenty of attractions and rides left..
Plenty of hand sanitisers are dotted around the park, and on entry and exit for all the rides. Individuals did seem to use them quite regularly..
There was a one method system for all the shops, and masks needed to be used. We didn’t go to any of the inside Lego exhibitions, and really do not even understand if they are open. If they are open, a one way system and a mask would certainly remain in location in those too..
There are markers on the ground with arrows pointing that individuals must stroll on the left hand side – many people overlooked this to be honest, and the signs were quite simple to miss anyhow..
Sorry to say this, however if you are interested in social distancing, an amusement park is not for you and Legoland will not be a great experience for you. People are strolling all over the place, not paying a blind little bit of attention to social distancing, almost bumping into each other..
It does appear that the intake of people is lower, however due to the coronavirus measures the trips take less individuals in and additional cleansing develops stops briefly in the service. This suggests that the queues are as long as ever. While there are social distancing tips on the ground individuals simply don’t take notice of them. And even if people did, the way the lines snake around you would be standing extremely near the people on your left and right anyhow..
Can you stay overnight at Legoland?
I personally was not too delighted with this element of the go to, but at the same time, it being outdoors and us being relatively young and healthy (and we have most likely had it currently anyway!) I was not extremely concerned. I would have chosen great social distancing, however I did not let it ruin my day. Individuals are out there having a good time, they forget, and it simply regrettably takes place..
We brought our own picnic, but if you wish to buy food at Legoland, be conscious that there may be long queues for food and only restricted food locations are open..
For beverage and ice creams there were lots of stalls around. Furthermore for drinks there are a couple of (few) beverage dispensers around the park – I saw one at Heartlake City and around the driving rides. You can buy a cup (offers from , 8- , 12 per cup), which you can then fill as frequently as you like with a range of soft drinks. You can also fill your own water bottles for free, but sorry to state, just water is free! The all you can consume soft drinks won’t work without the special cup. Legoland Windsor Youtube
