Find Sandals Grande Antigua Mediterranean Village Reviews…Extensive. Till we stayed at Sandals Resorts, we heard “all-encompassing” and flinched.
Back from nearly two weeks island hopping around The Bahamas, we can state that we totally enjoyed our stays at both Sandals Resorts in The Bahamas. There were a number of things that could be enhanced, however overall the experience wasn’t at all what we expected– in an excellent way. We ‘d absolutely think about going all-inclusive once again and our Sandals Resorts review reveals you why you must too:
With Sandals Resorts, it’s clear up-front that there are no constraints on dining, which activities are consisted of which you have your choice of premium alcohol. There are additional fees, which is extremely clear on the Sandals site, for a couple of things such as medical spa services, off-resort adventures and leasing a cabana. And that’s it.
Sandals even has a strict no tipping policy, so it’s completely unnecessary to have cash on hand.
Which is the nicest Sandals resort? Sandals Grande Antigua Mediterranean Village Reviews
After our first visit to Sandals Emerald Bay’s Coffee shop de Paris where we purchased a lattes and presented our space secret to the barista just to be informed it wasn’t necessary, I locked my handbag in the safe. We literally required our crucial cards exclusively to gain access to our space. After days of just appearing for our supper appointment and simply leaving when we were done, I nearly forgot my purse in the safe when it was time to leave. It was nice.
At both Sandals Resorts, we remained in Club Sandals level spaces that were embellished similarly in British Colonial style. I like the bathroom at Sandals Emerald Bay more given that it had a different tub and walk-in shower, and double sinks in the vanity. I did find the restroom lighting a bit dim at Sandals Emerald Bay, but the make-up mirror was lit so that helped.
The Club Sandals level means additional visitor amenities such being met on arrival by a Sandals concierge, rejuvenating towels on arrival to the resort, personal check-in that included a signature cocktail or glass of Champagne in the Club Sandals lounge, a tour of the property (which is in fact really useful if you’ve not been to that Sandals prior to) and a dedicated concierge to help with supper appointments and off-resort activities.
The Club Sandals lounge also provides a variety of parlor game and books you can obtain and Kindles that can be used in the lounge. Free wifi is offered throughout the whole property.
Service at Sandals resorts is usually impressive by Caribbean standards, and that holds true at this Barbados property. You can expect a can-do attitude and ear-to-ear smiles from all the personnel you encounter. If you remain in among the top-end suites, you will have access to day-and-night service from uniformed butlers trained by the Guild of Expert English Butlers; visitors are offered a mobile phone pre-set with their number to summon them at any time. Mid-priced Club Level rooms come with access to a concierge lounge.
In regards to centers, there are three swimming pools– a dynamic one by the beach with a swim-up bar, the elegant one with cabanas, and a 200m-long lagoon pool that snakes under bridges and jets of water. Other facilities include non-motorised watersports, a fitness center and an appealing medical spa. Visitors at Sandals Barbados also have complete access to the facilities at the linked Sandals Royal Barbados home, consisting of another day spa complex, more pool (one on a roof) and an indoor bowling alley.
Personnel set up daytime activities (volley ball on the beach, water polo etc). The night entertainment is outstanding, and may consist of bands on a piazza at the entrance to the resort, perky singalongs in the piano bar, and a sax gamer strolling the premises playing sensuous tunes.
