Find Sandals Resorts Elopement…All-encompassing. Till we remained at Sandals Resorts, we heard “all-inclusive” and cringed. We couldn’t truly comprehend why anyone would wish to spend their holiday holed up in one resort for days on end. Would not you wish to go out to see things and consume the local food? But with an invite to experience both Sandals Royal Bahamian in Nassau and Sandals Emerald Bay on Great Exuma, off we visited what all the buzz was about.
Back from nearly 2 weeks island hopping around The Bahamas, we can state that we fully enjoyed our stays at both Sandals Resorts in The Bahamas. There were a couple of things that could be enhanced, but in general the experience wasn’t at all what we expected– in a good way. We ‘d definitely consider going all-inclusive again and our Sandals Resorts review reveals you why you should too:
With Sandals Resorts, it’s clear up-front that there are no constraints on dining, which activities are included which you have your choice of premium alcohol. There are extra costs, which is really clear on the Sandals website, for a few things such as health club services, off-resort expeditions and leasing a cabana. And that’s it.
Sandals even has a rigorous no tipping policy, so it’s completely unnecessary to have money on hand.
Which is the nicest Sandals resort? Sandals Resorts Elopement
After our very first check out to Sandals Emerald Bay’s Coffee shop de Paris where we purchased a lattes and presented our space secret to the barista only to be informed it wasn’t necessary, I locked my purse in the safe. We literally required our crucial cards solely to gain access to our room.
At both Sandals Resorts, we stayed in Club Sandals level rooms that were decorated similarly in British Colonial style. I like the bathroom at Sandals Emerald Bay more since it had a different tub and walk-in shower, and double sinks in the vanity. I did discover the restroom lighting a bit dim at Sandals Emerald Bay, but the makeup mirror was lit so that helped.
The Club Sandals level suggests extra guest facilities such being satisfied on arrival by a Sandals concierge, rejuvenating towels on arrival to the resort, private check-in which included a signature cocktail or glass of Champagne in the Club Sandals lounge, a trip of the property (which is actually very useful if you’ve not been to that Sandals before) and a dedicated concierge to aid with dinner reservations and off-resort activities.
The Club Sandals lounge likewise uses a range of parlor game and books you can borrow and Kindles that can be used in the lounge. Free wifi is offered throughout the whole property.
Service at Sandals resorts is typically exceptional by Caribbean standards, and that is true at this Barbados home. Mid-priced Club Level spaces come with access to a concierge lounge.
In terms of facilities, there are 3 pool– a dynamic one by the beach with a swim-up bar, the elegant one with cabanas, and a 200m-long lagoon swimming pool that snakes under bridges and jets of water. Other facilities include non-motorised watersports, a health club and an appealing health spa. Guests at Sandals Barbados also have full access to the centers at the linked Sandals Royal Barbados home, including another medspa complex, more swimming pools (one on a roof) and an indoor bowling alley.
Staff arrange daytime activities (volley ball on the beach, water polo etc). The evening entertainment is exceptional, and may include bands on a piazza at the entrance to the resort, perky singalongs in the piano bar, and a sax player strolling the grounds playing sensuous tunes.
